On the sidelines of the BIO International Convention 2024 in San Diego, PHRMAG, in collaboration with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and BIO, hosted a roundtable featuring delegates from the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH). Led by Dr. Asma Al Mannaei, Executive Director of the Research and Innovation Centre at DoH, the session showcased Abu Dhabi’s progress in establishing itself as a global hub for life sciences and biotechnology innovation.

The discussions spotlighted the Emirate’s achievements in fostering a knowledge-based economy, adopting sustainable practices, and strengthening its regulatory framework to drive transformative change in the industry. Ashraf Mallak, Executive Committee Member of PHRMAG, highlighted the vital role of public-private partnerships and the continued collaboration between PHRMAG and DoH in advancing a vibrant healthcare ecosystem.
