PHRMAG team members had the privilege of hosting Aisha Salem-Howey, United States Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO’s) intellectual property (IP) attaché for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and her team as guest speakers in our IP working group’s monthly meeting. The discussions revolved around the importance of protecting IP in the bio innovation pharmaceutical industry, as well as the collaborative efforts between PHRMAG and stakeholders to strengthen IP frameworks and ensure a fair and sustainable ecosystem for innovative medicines.
